The Piper PA-24 Comanche was Piper’s answer to the Bonanza—a sleek, retractable-gear cruiser with a streamlined fuselage and impressive speed. Built from the late 1950s through the 1970s, the Comanche was loved for its balance of performance and handling. With up to 260 horsepower under the cowl, it had serious long-haul capability.
