Description
The Fairchild PT-19 Cornell was a primary trainer aircraft used by the United States Army Air Forces during World War II. It was developed by Fairchild Aircraft to meet the need for a rugged and simple monoplane trainer. The PT-19 was known as the "Cradle of Heroes" and was instrumental in training future pilots.
