Design
The PA-32R series—branded as the Piper Lance and later the Saratoga—is a high-performance six-seater with retractable gear and a smooth ride. Known for its spacious cabin and long-range comfort, it’s been a workhorse for private owners and charter operators alike. Its Lycoming engine gives it plenty of punch for serious cross-country flying. The clean lines and retractable gear of the Lance make it one of Piper’s most recognizable touring aircraft.
